Nema for Sales call follow-up

Draft the follow-up from the commitments actually made.

Move quickly after a customer conversation without relying on memory. Nema works from the notes you provide, then the account owner checks every recipient, promise, and next step.

An example in Slack Illustrative

@Nema, use the attached call notes to draft the customer follow-up and an internal action list. Quote the source for each commitment, leave unclear owners open, and flag anything that needs the account executive's review.

Call follow-up packet

  • The email recaps the agreed pilot scope and links the promised security overview.
  • The solutions engineer will send the sample data format by Friday, according to the notes.
  • The implementation date remains open because no participant confirmed it.
  • Each commitment links to the relevant passage in the supplied call notes.

A starting point for your team's review.

Start with an approved record

Provide the transcript or notes that the team is allowed to use. Include the call date, participants, account, and meeting purpose. Start with the meeting record your team already keeps so every follow-up has a clear source.

If the notes are partial, say which section or participant may be missing. The output should carry that limitation rather than filling gaps from expectation.

Extract commitments carefully

Ask Nema to separate customer commitments, your team's commitments, questions, and general discussion. Each action should point to the passage that supports it. When the speaker or date is unclear, leave the field unresolved.

A customer saying "we can probably send that next week" is not a firm Tuesday deadline. The follow-up can ask for confirmation instead of converting tentative language into a promise.

Draft for two audiences

The customer email should recap the useful outcome, confirmed next steps, and any materials promised. Internal actions may include context that does not belong in the external message. Keeping the drafts separate reduces the chance of exposing private sales commentary.

The account executive checks the recipient list, commercial language, dates, and commitments. Nema can revise wording after that review, but sending stays with the authorized person.

Keep the deal thread current

Post the action list in the deal's Slack channel. Owners can accept or correct assignments, and unresolved items remain visible. If a later reply changes a date, ask Nema to update the list rather than leaving two competing versions.

For repeated follow-ups, save the expected sections and review rules as guidance. Do not preserve a customer's names, dates, or terms in a reusable template.

Begin with one call

Choose a recent conversation with good notes. Ask for a short email and a separate action table. Compare every line with the record and remove any inferred promise. This first run shows whether the notes are detailed enough for reliable follow-up.

Questions from sales teams

Does Nema record sales calls?

This workflow starts with a transcript or notes supplied by the team. Recording and consent remain in the meeting tools and process you already use.

Can Nema assign internal work?

It can draft an action list using owners named in the notes. Each owner should confirm the task and due date in Slack.

Will it send the customer email?

The example produces a draft. The account owner reviews recipients and commitments before sending through an approved channel.

Start with one channel.
