Product

An AI coworker that works in your Slack.

Add it to a channel, ask for something, and watch it work in the thread. This page is the whole product in plain words. Each section links to the details.

One turn, start to finish

Every request follows the same path, whether it takes ten seconds or ten minutes.

  1. You ask in the threadMention @Nema, or reply in a thread it is already in.
  2. It reads what it needsThe thread, the channel canvas, and your apps with your access.
  3. It proposes risky changesReads run straight through. A risky write stops here.
  4. You approve in the threadYou, or a named approver. Approve, deny or edit first.
  5. Done, on the recordThe result posts in the thread. Who asked, what ran and who approved are in the log.

You add it to a channel

Nema is a Slack app. Install it, invite it to a channel, and mention @Nema when you want something. It answers in the thread, so the channel sees the question and the answer.

Any channel can have its own coworker with its own instructions, kept in the channel canvas. You get a personal one in your DM for work that is only yours.

It reads and acts in your apps, as you

Connect the apps you use. Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Linear, GitHub, Notion, HubSpot and more. In your apps, Nema uses your access, not a service account. It can never do more there than you could.

If it needs an app you have not connected, it sends you a private sign-in card and waits. When the answer is not in your apps, it searches the web and cites the pages it used.

Reading is instant. Writing asks first.

Looking things up needs no permission. Editing the shared canvas always waits for approval. Other writes go through a risk gate and your workspace policy, and anything risky raises an approval card in the thread. The person who asked, or a named approver, says yes or no.

Every run is logged with who asked, what ran, which tools it used and who approved.

It remembers what the channel teaches it

Correct a wrong definition in the thread and Nema keeps the note, or proposes it for the channel canvas and someone approves it. The next person gets the corrected answer without knowing there was ever a correction.

Memory is per channel. #finance and #support each keep their own. Your personal coworker keeps notes that follow only you.

It keeps working on a schedule

Say what you want and when. Nema runs it in the cloud and posts the result in the channel while you are offline, in a meeting or on vacation. App Home lists the routines you created, and you can pause them there.

It picks the model per task

Routine questions go to fast, cheap models. Analysis and plans go to the strongest. The console shows which models did the work and what each cost. You can pin one any time. Your admin chooses which models a coworker may use.

Some jobs get their own agent

A help channel, a contractor channel or a shared channel with a customer can each get a narrow agent with one brief, the apps it may reach and its own approvers. Build it in Slack in a minute.
