Define ready for this campaign
Campaigns stall when each contributor uses a different meaning of "done." Start by giving Nema the approved brief, launch date, channel list, required asset types, and the team's approval rules. A paid social image may need brand and legal review, while an internal announcement may need only the campaign owner's signoff.
Write those differences into the request. Nema can apply the checklist you provide, but it should not infer an approval rule from a similar launch or treat a file upload as approval.
Gather status without another meeting
Bring the latest asset tracker into the launch Slack channel or supply an export. Ask Nema to compare it with explicit updates in the thread. The useful output is organized by owner and deadline, with a source for each status.
For example, the checklist might show that landing-page copy is approved, design is awaiting the final dimensions, and the email audience has no confirmed owner. A separate section can collect decisions such as whether a missing customer quote should delay the page or be removed from launch scope.
Separate blockers from unfinished work
Not every open item threatens the launch. Nema can group items using criteria in the campaign brief: required before launch, safe to finish later, and waiting on a decision. This helps the campaign lead focus the Slack conversation on the work that changes the go-live choice.
Dates need the same care. If one update says "Friday" and another names a calendar date, the checklist should use the team's timezone and ask for clarification when the two conflict. A stale tracker row should remain unresolved until the owner confirms it.
Keep approval visible
Ask each owner to confirm their line item in the thread. Nema can revise the checklist after those replies and preserve the unresolved questions at the top. The campaign lead then has a current review packet rather than a collection of reactions spread across several conversations.
This workflow prepares launch coordination. It does not publish assets, change advertising settings, or approve regulated claims. Those actions stay with the people and systems authorized to perform them.
Run a small launch first
Choose a campaign with a few assets and known owners. Supply the brief and status export, then review whether Nema matched the right asset version and approval rule. Fix unclear naming before using the checklist for a larger launch. Once the team trusts the structure, reuse it as guidance for later campaigns or schedule a readiness update at an agreed time.
Questions from campaign teams
What happens when two sources disagree?
Nema can show both statuses with their timestamps and ask the named owner to resolve the conflict. It should not silently choose the more optimistic update.
Can Nema chase missing approvals?
Nema can list missing approvals and prepare a reminder in Slack. Decide who may be mentioned and when before turning that step into a routine.
Does the checklist launch the campaign?
No. The checklist supports the campaign lead's decision. Publishing and advertising controls remain in their approved tools.
